The Pro-Abortion Crowd...

Do they really want abortion to be "safe, legal, and rare?" I argue below that such a claim is highly suspect based on the actions and words of the pro-abort lobby:

Nor is it difficult for a woman driver to slow down enough to prevent all those accidents that her speeding contributed to.

This administration, which upholds morality with such diligence, just appointed to the "family planning" post in HHS a man who opposes the use of contraceptives by married couples. In this environment, why in a fairly long disquisition on the horrors of abortion is nothing at all said about bringing access to contraception in the United States up to the levels of other societies? Isn't this way of preventing abortions even worth considering?
